My Favorites
Music: Early Sacred Music, Sared Harp (shape note singing), Chamber Music, most anything written before thw20th century, Music from the Heart of Space. TV Shows: Antiques Road show, Are You Smarter Than a fifth Grader?, Jeopardy, The Vicar of Dibley, As Time Goes By, Keeping Up Appearences, PBS Docuemtaries, the Olympics Movies: GWTW, prerequsite for living in Atlanta, I Love You To Death, Goodbye Mr. Chips, Mrs. Miniver, chick-flix, Steel Magnolias, almost anything with Meryll Streep and my all time favorite: it's a Wonderful Life in B&W. I won't make my guy go to chick-flix if he won't make me watch sports on TV or in person. Well, there are a few exceptions to the sports thing. Books: GWTW, read this book, then moved to Atlanta when I was 19. Jane Eyre, she's my alter ego however, I'm nothing like her, Jeffrey Archer, until he messed up his life; the enclopedia and the dictionary. I like instructional books about Christianity. Last, but really first, the never ending story: The Bible. Quotes: To be a feather on the breath of God - Hildegaard von Bignen, 10th century prioress; there is a God shaped hole in everyone's heart that only god can fill -Blaise Pascal; Jeremiah 29:11; so many things Jesus said and most of the one-liners in Steel Magnolias More About Me: I'm open and honest, I have my neurotic moments, c'mon most people do but I haven't seen anyone admit it on eharmony. I'm very eclectic in my tastes of music. I'm a hopeless housekeeper, but I make up for it with my cooking. -
