I'm a Democrat and I am upset she didn't get the nomination, because I thought she had more experience. As far as voting, I have always voted, but I don't kow what I will do this time.

My oppinion of John McCain as president is not a cold chance in.... you get the idea. I was voting for Obama anyway but I'm hopping that the clinton supporters realize that having McCain in office would be the worst thing that could happen to us. I'm hopping that they realize that while they don't like all of Obamas ideas or views he is a way better choice then McCain and that we need to galvanize as a party and fight together rather then apart.

I was backing Hillary for a number of reasons, not least of which is that she's been through the media fire that a national campaign brings. *I* would never vote Republican in protest (well, at least not in any scenario I can imagine). But the ball is in Obama's court now: if he and his campaign can treat Hillary's backers as if they are truly wanted, I think they'll stay.

And btw, I hope she doesn't end up as the VP nominee. That feels too "also-ran." I'd rather see her with a more independent position in the Cabinet or maybe even on the Supreme Court. Wouldn't you love to be a fly on the wall when she and Scalia get into it??

Toon many people would object to her as a justice because she doesn't have any real judicial experience but as a cabinet member I can see that. I figure he will probably choose one of the men who ran against him for the nomination. However I actually would like to see clinton as his VP I don't think McCain has much chance but still I think the Obama and Clinton together would just clean McCain's clock like no other.

I don't think Clarence Thomas had much judicial experience, either (not that he's the best example). Hillary would be very controversial, though.

Who do you think McCain will choose as his running mate? That might make a difference in the strength of his candidacy.

I am a Hillary supporter from way back. I live in NY State and believe she has done a good job as our senator. I hope she doesn't go for the VP role, it would be a true waste of her talents. I'm disappointed to be faced with options that are limited to the lesser of two evils - again.I'll vote for Obama despite his inexperience. McCain's support for the war and disregard for the cost in lives and dollars frightens me. I still have a neice in the guard that will have to go back to Iraq if this goes on.

Obama would be an absolutely abysmal President. I say would be because his empty suit, smoke and mirrors act is wearing thin and there's not a chance in H#ll he will be elected. This guy is dangerous: a trojan horse for heavy-handed, anti-growth socialist government takeover of virtually everything. You like what you pay for gas now? The other day he said he was glad the price has rose thus reaming the entre middle class. His solution is to raise taxes and drive the price up even higher. Yippee! You like your 401K's? What happens if he gets elected with his promise to double the capital gains tax (hint: everyone would dump their stocks by the end of the year to avoid the tax resulting in a GIGANTIC crash of the market (including YOUR 401K's and 403B's).

What little we know of his wannabe policies are as un-American as he is anti-American. And what about the endless parade of anti-American sc#mbags he associates with?

I don't understand the appeal of this guy. He has never once had a real job (community agitator before he became an absentee politician) and the dreck he associates with reveals his appalling lack of judgement. He is Al Sharpton with a law degree.

Maybe he is such an empty suit that he becomes a blank slate and the masses project their fantasies on him. That and a pretty speech are enough to convince some mobs I guess.

A President Obama would make Jimmy Carter (an atrocious American embarassment) look like George Washington.

Can we change the tone? Comments about Hillary (and Bill) joining Obama in Unity? As much as I am disappointed to not be able to vote for Hillary, I trust her support of Obama as the best choice. It may be early but I'd like to know that he is surrounding himself with people who can fill in the gaps in his experience.

Have you seen the news lately???????? I don't know about you but it appears the stock market is already crashing, the economy is in the toilet, the budget deficit is out of sight, my 401k is tanking, gas prices are going through the roof, the banking/mortgage industry is collapsing...and you really believe that another 4 years of Republican rule is going to make this better...pleassssssse.

I might have been born at night...but it wasn't last night. In 8 years the Republican party has single handedly destroyed the US economy and ruined relations throughout the world with the Iraq debacle. I seriously doubt that Obama could do any worse!

I just heard the Obama Yes We Can speech set to techno music it was incredible. That is one heck of a speach and while McCain can speak way better then Bush can he's got nothing on that speach.

I was an Edwards supporter when I cast my ballot accordingly. When it got whittled down to Hillary and Obama, I thought Hillary was preferable.

Il'll not be voting for Obama, but for a third party candidate, probably writing in Ron Paul if he doesn't run formally.

There doing a thing where if you donate $5 or more to the Obama campaign they will take your name and 10 lucky people will be selected to be flown to Denver to go to the convention in August but sit up front and not only that go back stage and meet Obama. Also the night that Obama makes his acceptance speech they have decided not to do the speech at the convention center downtown but at Invesco Field where the Broncos play. I've not been in the new stadium yet but from what I understand it is a steep son of a gun. So naturally I donated 5 dollars.

It will take decades to correct the damage that the Bush/Cheney/Rove abomination did to America. It is hard to believe that I live in a country that my own grandparents ( who fled the Tsar) wouldn't recognize. Obama is my choice though I must admit that I would sooner vote for Daffy Duck than a "putz" like McCain. But Obama has many luminous qualities that admire, inspire and that we need now though I am prepared to be disappointed. But its time for Obama. Time to start putting the Mad Saved Cowboy behind us. Send the Village Idiot back to the ranch.
