My husband and I went to Florida. We went for two weeks and went to all the Disney parks and seaworld the first week, then out to the coast to lay on the beach the second week.

Couldn't have been happier.

It depends on what type of things you want to do and your budget. Myself, I like island places where the fishing and diving is good. If the budget allows, Fiji or Tahiti would be my choice.
Took the words right out of me.. lol
I also like to add bali, borneos, Azores,Bora Bora and Margarita Island. sigh...

I would choose to honeymoon in August/September - which is late winter/early spring for me.

Australia
~ Magnetic Island. Beautiful beaches, day trips to the Great Barrier Reef, fishing, relaxation. Bliss.
~ Wineglass Bay - they've got a hiking loop across/between The Hazards. Would make a week of it and travel further up to Bay of Fires too.

Overseas
~ Switzerland: I found a tour for two weeks which goes through Switzerland fairly thoroughly and also a brief visit to the Italian Lakes areas.
~ The Greek Islands: cruise for 7 days around the islands, also visits Athens and Turkey.
~ New Zealand: though seeing how close I live to NZ, this may just be a long weekend visit one day! LOL

I'm really drawn to water, so a beach or lake/river location (if none of the above pan out) would be the basic 'requirement' on my part. And decent facilities - I can't do the camping scene using the ground and shovel!
Can we get married?
I've been to Australia and it's wonderful! (But the airplane trip is murder -- 12 hours nonstop from the West Coast. So two of your honeymoon days will be spent just getting to/ from there.) If you're really active, New Zealand has some rugged scenery and lots of outdoor sports activities.

I would also consider a Caribbean or Hawaiian resort vacation, with nice beaches, snorkeling/ scuba, and access to a night life for restaurants or entertainment.

Depending on the time of year your honeymoon takes place, you can score some great travel deals, if you're flexible.

I have been interested to visit some historical places. So, I could know some mysteries behind the place. So, I would prefer any place which have lots of historical monuments. Any one has suggestions?

Thanks,
