That's what I'm thinking, is she the next generations Madonna? I'm kind of in the nineties generation and we really didn't have a Madonna of our own. So, I'm wondering if this could be the next generation's Madonna.

The 90's had Janet, Mariah and then Britney in the end!

I love Lady Gaga. She does have the oddest attire and make-up though.

GaGa has a pretty big following here, she's just arrived for a tour, I believe.

She has good dance music and the lyrics are catchy and fairly easily remembered. And, she hasn't made the mistake of having the same music arrangement for each new song. I can always tell a GaGa song on the radio.

Mind you, I just like anything which can be cranked right up and danced to with gusto!

I believe that Lady Gaga is an artist that is here to stay. She is not an artist that is just following trends. She has her own style to her, and has an almost cult-like following. She will be around for years to come.

Can't stand her myself. Too skanky and too wierd for my tastes. Music today is like throwing bread crumbs onto a synthesizer...whatever notes the birds randomly peck at is recorded and a video is made with skanky partially-nude dancers and voila!! A new "hit sensation". It's like...."Hey! LOOK at the 'music' !! " ...and not "Hey! LISTEN to this great melody!".

Just my 2 cents,
LK
