I guarantee you my butt will be in a seat in front of "Partly Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs" within the next 2 weeks or less.

I have seen every Disney movie (The Little Mermaid is my favorite) and I LOVE the Pixar cartoons (Monsters Inc. rocks my world!)

How about you? Do you um...indulge... in these types of movies or do you leave the kid stuff for the kids?

Yes I would go see kids movies. I haven't seen it yet, but I would totally sit and watch Cloudy with a chance of meat balls. I 'm a sucker for all the Pixar films,Disney is so impressionable.

Ok, I don't usually see children movies unless I am with children. I took my grandchildren to see "Cloudy ...." yesterday and laughed out loud. I rarely laugh out loud at my kind of comedies. It's a winner!

I will if I can talk someone into (I mean drag) going with me. Otherwise the parents look at me like I'm a freak. I didn't go to the last Harry Potter movie for this reason, the only one to date I've not seen on the big screen. Oh well, it'll be on DVD around Christmas I'm thinking!

I will see pretty much anything that Studio Ghibli (Miyazaki, et.al.) releases, including this summer's "Ponyo." Also a Pixar movie every few years or so. No kids, so nothing else unless I'm forced.

Absolutely!

For some reason, I think the studios are much more willing to take chances with so-called "kid" movies, so you end up finding a few very fresh, very enjoyable gems in amongst the formulaic garbage. For example, I've made every adult I know watch "Agent Cody Banks", and every one of them has admitted later that they went out and bought it. It was funny, and fun, without pushing the gore factor the way the "adult" spy flicks do. "Are We There Yet?" goes on my list, too, for being fun and silly, but incredibly sad and touching. The sequal, however, was pure trash. That's what happens when Hollywood realizes that adults are watching.

I think that having to create a film without being able to fall back on those good old stand-bys, sex and gore, makes for movies that just naturally get more creative, and may go to totally unexpected places.

I don't go to see them in a theatre, something about being the only adult in a room full of kids I don't like. But I do see them on Blu-ray or TV.

This year, I watched "Wall-E", "Ratatouille" (there's a story behind that) and "Up".

I have two Granddaughters so I see a few "kids" movies. As a matter of fact, we all went to see "Alvin and the Chipmunks, the Squeakqual" today for my birthday. I laughed a lot, mostly because my oldest Granddaughter was singing and dancing in the seat next to me. It was a cute movie, and I don't mind seeing kids movies if they are made for the adults also.
