I feel your pain, I have those same feelings but I never went to a wedding. Seriously, I stopped Eharmony. Guys seem to want a cute, young, perfect body, lil something and I am past cute although not unattractive in my own way. But I don't think, in real life, I ever felt so unattractive as I did when on Eharmony. Its like a grocery store and they only pick the best fruit ,, no bruising even though you might be sweeter.
LOL, I say let'em have it.
I am enjoying the conversations here, and I am not pressured to find the right one nor am I worried anyone will not pick me.
Here, its just chat and fun, and free!!!

Harry suddenly realizes that he probably fits this category..both as a donor and as a child of an "old sperm" donor. Harry feels faint.

Welcome to the club winn, I have not got to meet any of my matches, most dissappear at any point of the communications. There is nothing we can do for those that are determined to miss out on something (someone) good. But just think of what all your possible matches is missing, then sleep like a baby.
Bob, thanks for the compliment. If you were here I'd give you a hug for that.

To the OP: When I was active on eHarmony I never met anyone, was closed immediately or they disappeared. I'm sure that quite a few were scam mers or spring chicken hunters. But maybe not. I was lucky, I met someone on the board a year ago and we're still together. Have you considered meeting anyone who posts on the board?

My reply is in mod land. I also had a lot of matches within a short period of time before I stopped my subscription because I got tired of the online meat market. Have you tried meeting the men who post here? That's how I met someone.

I actually perfer EH to Plenty of Fish. Nothing strokes my self esteem like when on POF where you can message a match find out that he received it, has read it and deleted it. Sweet!!

I know someone will say this thread belongs on the main boards but I want some foolishness back from CSC so i don't feel so old, ugly, unappealing and silly for feeling jealous of a 30 something year old girl who is gorgeous and found herself an absolutely hunk of a guy., who, by the way, is only five years younger than me but probably wants kids.
Well now, if you had danced naked on the table with the wedding cake and had it put on your eH profile page, that would have generaed you plenty of responses during any free weekend.

Seriously, don't let it get you down. Your time will come. Good things come to those who wait.
