I hate it when the President comes around.

Yesterday he's around here campaigning for Corzine for governor and they closed all the major roads -- I76, I295. I676 & rte 42. All the major roads to Philadelphia were closed for his motorcade. That, plus the traffic for the Eagles game *GO EAGLES!*, and the Phillies game *GO PHILLIES!* (It's do or die tonite), traffic was effed up everywhere.

I wish he would stay in Washington and do something useful.

I can't stand it when you get in an elevator with a whole load of other people and everyone not only stops talking but they refuse to make eye contact the whole time they are riding in the elevator. Did we just turn into aliens with heat seeking lazer eyes that destroy if you look at the person next to you?

In Switzerland (lived there for 10 years) they politely say "Good morning/afternoon/evening" when entering the lift and "Have a nice day" when getting off the lift. I found that quite nice.

I think that is lovely....I usually look and acknowledge everyone, even if it's just to say

Gooooo Phillies!

I hate it when a customer emails me frantically and insistently about connections which are failing; and when I check, they are all connected successfully. Patience is a very good thing!
