Fair enough. But, the original premise of my thread addressed the view of people who have previously written on 'baggage' threads and who disagree with your view.

With regard to your view of what baggage is....these people who are self-aware and have little baggage should be in high demand....so we should snap them up when they're young, before someone else gets them.
People may disagree with me but that does not make them right. lol!

True enough - definitely high-demand - non-wrinkled, tight body, non-baggage carrying girls are definitely in high demand...but I kind of have a feeling they are the same ones that won't be looking for daddy in a boyfriend.

Sorry, JayJay! And you were so close. lol!

Seems like a lot of children these days have asthma or or a peanut allergy, is that baggage?

Everyone has a different definition of what it means to them, it's just a matter of finding the right level of baggage for you. I don't think going younger is the answer JayJay.

It's nice of you to allow the rest of us to be wrong.

Drats! I was afraid of that. lol. But I find those cute young Hispanic women you're going to fix me up with are more open to the idea. The triplet sister of the Latina I met last weekend is married to a man who is 6 months older than I am. Point: jayjay. lol

What happened to that self-awareness that is supposed to prevent you from having baggage?

The key is to find someone with an overnight bag instead of a U-Haul.

lol! I concede - one point for JayJay!! (See how gracious I am!)

I read about that trip (trips!). Does meeting the family and it being a friend's sister-in-law, make it a little more real - like could really go somewhere?? Fingers crossed for you.

Was she cute? I don't think I read what you thought of her...physically.

But maybe what each person's definition of baggage is relevant to finding the right kind of person. For some people an absence of baggage may = creamy young skin. lol
