What to say after you've been rejected. This is an easy one! I've been on a couple dates with an eharm match and I'm considering "poofing" on her since I can't come up with something to tell her.

op the problem when some men ask out is sometimes they take a nice decline as a "maybe"

if i say " aww i'm really flattered, but nooo" *smile* and they think because you are being nice to him that you really are interested. I wouldnt take a more curt no personally at all.

next date, babe, shagg, whatever ... move on ... big deal. I guess it is sometimes relief as it saves you having to say something (but you can't say that, as it is rude). How about " No biggee. All the best on your quest."

You are doing a woman a favor to invite her on a date. It is the favor to ask her, to treat her, and to give her the chance of getting to know you.

Fear is not an appropriate thing to feel.

Merely for having asked, you have given her a gift. She should honor it, as should you.

Some women will legitimately say “no.” That some have been rude is their issue. Just keep asking – while refining your technique.
Doing a woman a favor? Really? Wow!

Calling it a favor may be taking it a bit far, but there has to be some balance to the raging sense of entitlement that many women exhibit.
