well, I'll take a look but it's not a good start....

to the op, it sounds as if your feelings are hurt..
this guy is not going to make you feel better about yourself...
you need to start with yourself, doing things for your family and self that will make you happy and proud and fulfilled. Life can be really great!
And the amazing thing I heard is that when people do the right thing, they live happier lives. Cheating is not doing the right thing.

I don't know if those of you who posted will get to read this but I want to say Thank you. Not looking for sympathy... just most people don't hear the good stuff from comments. The brick has fallen & the kick in the butt that I needed. I once was a kind, caring, warm hearted person that never thought this would happen to me. I know that I will go to hell & I live with that. I just got stirred up again when he came back around, if he didn't search I wouldn't be asking the questions about his thoughts. I WANT TO DO THE RIGHT THING I want to be the person I once was but it maybe to late after the mistake I've done. If I could erase the time I would but at the moment I don't understand the let go move on part when those questions come into my head that I asked about. I have learned I just wanted to understand his thoughts so I can counter act I wasn't looking to see how I could cheat more

Wow, you came back! And even didn't get defensive about the posts. Impressive.

I'm glad you want to do the Right Thing.

Everyone makes mistakes; everyone has done things they later regret. But there's no real point in trying to figure out why HE cheated. There is a point in figuring out why YOU cheated, so you can not do that, in the future. Good luck!

This is true. There were some possibilities mentioned in this thread about what he MIGHT have been thinking - but in the end it doesn't really matter. If you're going to move on, why even bother caring what he thinks? Just move on and get your own thinking back in line with what you believe it should be!

From experience do not date married people,,that leads to trouble I did with a married woman messed up lots of stuff...stick to people who have been out of a serious relationship for at least 2 years..you will find better results.. Being age 72 and have had lots of men and women friends,,I find that most of us men like to see an attractive woman before we follow thru. taht varies from person to person but first impression so count.

Ditto them.... And if it makes you feel any better, Understanding, you won't be going to hell, but doing the right thing can make living on this earth much better (if not easier). (So says this atheist, anyway.)

Heck even from a religious perspective I wouldn't doom your soul to hell for cheating. At least from a Christian standpoint I do recall Jesus specifically defending a woman who cheated and one of his most devoted followers (not going to get into that discussion) was a prostitute.

Hard to argue that Christianity promotes condemning people for that sort of thing when the founder didn't. Just sayin'
