It could be that since he hasn't seen you, he thinks you've lost interest. You could try to nerve up, take the train that the two of you normally took, and just ask him out for some coffee sometime.

You "fell" for someone you apparently never talked to? And you couldn't introduce yourself out loud, you had to do it in a note? You gave your phone number and email to a total stranger? This is just bizarre on many levels. Please be careful.

On the other hand, if all I need to do to get phone numbers is hang out at train stations, then I guess I'll ditch all this e-dating stuff...

Love strike in many places even on the train . I agree go back to the regular train and talk to him on the way to work and perhaps after as well.

There is a second thought thou You by introducing yourself and going after him just killed his fantasy. Perhaps your relationship was only able to live in the realm of the unknown. You need to be careful thou and take is slow and learn about him as much as possible. I know it's is exciting and thrilling not to know everything about him that's the element of attraction. After all your meeting sounds like something from Danielle Steel novel. But don't forget that sometimes the romance has a bittersweet realm in the end.

Definitely not bizazze.. This is how strangers meet!

I give you credit for taking a chance with the note! The only thing I would suggest doing differently is to strike up a conversation for a few days or so before giving out your email or phone number.

What i do find strange, is he never approached you. So my guess either he is real shy or has a girlfriend..

Go back to your regular train schedule and see what happens othewise you''ll always be wondering.. and yes do be careful...

"Just give it time ?" Give what time ? Why would you go to all the trouble of giving him the note, and then avoid him by taking a different train than you have for the past 10 months ? He obviously thinks you had second thoughts after talking to him, otherwise, why would you change your routine ? And feeling rejected in that way, it's very unlikely he'll use the # and email you gave him.

Your only hope that this might go anywhere is to get back on your regular train and talk to him again. Stop being a chicken. No risk, no gain.

Seriously, you had better get back on the same train you have used for 10 months. If this were me and I was the guy, the next day if I was expecting to see you, I would be a little thrown off when you didn't show. The second day you didn't show, I would give up and lose your number because clearly the date was bad enough for you to avoid me. I dont think I would notice if you returned to the train either, but that is beside the point.

My question to you is, why did you do that. If you were nervous about seeing him again or didn't want to talk to him again so soon, just talk on the phone the whole time but just wave or smile.
