I've asked about superpowers before but which regular, human talent do you wish that you possessed, but you do not.

Do you think it's a talent you could cultivate? If so, do you plan to try?

~~~
As for me, I wish I could sing (well). lol I mean, I'm the second coming of Mariah Carey when I'm alone in my car but get me in front of people and I go all bad-warbly.
I wish I could paint like Michelangelo.
The best I can do is a paint-by-number Sistine Chapel
I will however offer to paint any guy nude for free (as long as he doesn't expect it to look like a human being).
I wish I could play the guitar.
When I was in junior high, I took bass guitar lessons, but let's face it, the bass guitar is not the sexiest of instruments.
Someday I'd like to find the time to learn the guitar and play it well.
I'd also like to bone up more on my improv skills. I've taken a few classes and I'd like to do more.
I wish I could play the piano. It's always been one of my favorite instruments, and I've just never had the opportunity to learn how to play it. I'd also like to pick up a guitar again--I'm not even sure if I'd remember what I learned so many years ago, but I always loved playing it.
I'm not sure that I'll ever be able to do either of these things; both take a great deal of desire, dedication, and time. I have the desire, and I have no problem with the dedication part. Time can be a factor for me sometimes, depending on where I am in a semester. That probably wouldn't be conducive to learning to play an instrument. You never know, though!
I'm with Lori...I wish I could sing.... other than the occasional karaoke fiasco after a few drinks . Not at all into country music, but I did once win a karaoke prize for a rendition of "Poor Poor Pitiful Me", with the twang a la Teri Clark. I guess my theatrics won the the crowd over, NOT my voice.
My best friend plays guitar, and he would teach me. Part of me wants to learn...but I took guitar in college and dropped it because it was KILLING me fingers (plus it wasn't "easy" like I thought it would be...lol)
One of our teachers husbands is a musician and the school lets him come in to teach guitar to any teachers who are interested in their free periods.
