Want to initiate contact with a match but don't know where to start? We get it: that's why eHarmony is introducing Icebreakers.

You join eHarmony, get matched with some great people—what’s next? Sometimes initiating contact with a match can seem daunting. That’s why we’ve created Icebreakers.

Icebreakers can be used to test the waters with a match, flirt, or simply request more information. Like a match’s profile? Tell them with an Icebreaker. Need to see a photo before moving to open communication? We have that too.

You can send one Icebreaker per match. When you receive one, we’ll send you an email. You can also check for Icebreakers on your “My Matches” page.

So what are you waiting for? Someone out there is waiting to hear from you!

Hello someone - what does one do when he/she is hesistant to post pictures but the other party has sent a NUDGE to do such? I have been having several insightfull emails with members, even met eye to eye without posting my photo. Is there somehow to let the other person know of my desire to continue with the emails after ICEBREAKERS have been exchanged?

I'll check back regarding this subject...

Thanks!!
