Want to initiate contact with a match but don't know where to start? We get it: that's why eHarmony is introducing Icebreakers.

You join eHarmony, get matched with some great people—what’s next? Sometimes initiating contact with a match can seem daunting. That’s why we’ve created Icebreakers.

Icebreakers can be used to test the waters with a match, flirt, or simply request more information. Like a match’s profile? Tell them with an Icebreaker. Need to see a photo before moving to open communication? We have that too.

You can send one Icebreaker per match. When you receive one, we’ll send you an email. You can also check for Icebreakers on your “My Matches” page.

So what are you waiting for? Someone out there is waiting to hear from you!

I'm not joining at this time because I'll be on vacation this next month. I'd also like to know if you can sign up for just a month to see how it goes before investing the money into a 3 month plan.
