Have you met someone special on eHarmony? Do you think you've found The One?
If you answered "Yes," you could be our lucky Success Story of the Year!
How do you enter to win? It's simple. All you need to do is send us the story of your eHarmony romance. Make sure to give us all the magical details of how you two fell in love:
- Tell us about how you picked this person from the My Matches page.
- Describe your communication, and how you got to know each other.
- Share that moment when you first met face-to-face or knew it was true love.
The more romantic the story, the better your chances of being selected. Please be sure to include both your and your partner's usernames, along with your phone numbers, city and state.
The couple from each state who submits the most romantic story will be awarded as "Couple of the Year" for that state. Each state's "Couple of the Year" will receive an award plaque. The overall winner from all states will receive this year's grand prize - a dream vacation package from Southwest Vacations.

Flashback: The 2006 Success Story of the Year
After receiving thousands of submissions from happy couples who met on eHarmony, we selected the 2006 winners - Rachel and Chip McPheeters of Dekalb, Illinois. Rachel, a high school English teacher, and Chip, a physical education teacher and football coach, were married on July 8, 2005. The McPheeterses were selected based on their essay describing the unique way that Chip proposed and the romantic duet they sang together at their wedding. They enjoyed a wonderful seven-day honeymoon cruise as part of their grand prize.

I met the love of my life on eHarmony just a few months ago. I had dated a few of my matches but did not spark with any of them. Just as I was about to cancel my subscription, Greg's profile was sent to me. He lived local, had a nice profile, but only had one picture and it was so far away that you couldn't even see his face. I always thought I would "know my prince when I saw him" so since I couldn't even see Greg's face, I thought about passing. Something in my gut told me to reach out to him. After going through guided communication, we had our first "real" conversation over email. I knew right away that I wanted to know more. By our first phone call, I was hooked. I needed to meet him. Our first date was on a Friday night and our second and third dates were that same weekend. By Monday morning, I knew that I had met the love of my life. It took a few weeks to confirm that they were not just "butterflies" but we are now three months in and I could not imagine being without him. He is truly my knight in shining armor. Thank you eHarmony for reintroducing me to love.
I'm a e Harmony success story too... After being widowed 6 years ago, suddenly, at the age of 27 - he was 26, and had been together for 12 years, married for 6 of those years. I had almost given up on finding the right someone. But, all of that changed in Feb. of 2007, when I signed up for e Harmony and met my fiance, Vincent. We decided to meet in person at a local resturant in Austin. And we dated for 3 weeks, before I met his kids. The day we had been dating 2 months and 1 week, I found out I was 4 weeks pregnant. I told him over dinner that night. We've been together. We now have a beautiful 4 week, and 2 day old baby girl. And on December 23rd Vincent proposed to me, and on Christmas Eve, he proposed to me, and I accepted. So, now... I am looking at planning a wedding in 2008. I am very happy, and very much in love, with my better half... I am proof, that life does go on...
“There is nothing more attractive than self-awareness, personal responsibility, and a sense of wonder about the world. Wrapped in a nice package would be nice, too, but then I'm a guy and we somehow think that's really important.”
“I'm a tiny, snarky nerd who tires to be not so nerdy by expanding her horizons. I'm not by any stretch of the imagination a girly-girl but I appreciate the finer qualities like cute shoes and sparkly lip-gloss. Currently I am looking to learn how to properly Salsa without looking like a complete rhythm-less clod. ”
