eHarmony Advice HELP Page
1. Will my eHarmony login/password work with this new Advice Community area?
You will need to register separately if you’d like to post a comment on our article pages or community message boards. You’ll create a username and password. Your comments will be associated with your username.
The eHarmony Advice Community is open to users who are not participating in the matching service. For this reason, we’ve created a separate login process so the two areas will remain distinct. You are free to read the articles in Advice without creating a username and password. However, if you’d like to post a comment on our articles or in our community message board you’ll need to create a username and password.
2. How do I register/log in?
To register just:
- Visit our homepage and click the JOIN NOW! link at the top of the page
- Complete the registration form
When you return to the site just enter your username and password at the top of the page in order to login.
3. How do I edit my profile?
After you have logged in click the EDIT MY PROFILE link at the top of the page. When you click this link you’ll be able to enter personal information as well as a photo or avatar.
4. How come I can’t see my post right away?
After you submit a post, thread or comment it is sent to a moderation queue. Queue waits vary, and we do follow rules and guideline for approving posts. Click here to see our community guidelines.
5. Who do I contact with additional questions?
If you have additional questions regarding eHarmony Advice contact ehadvicealerts@eharmony.com.
If you have questions regarding the eHarmony matching service contact help.
6. I see old posts that I wrote but they aren’t associated with me, why?
As you may know, in the past our Advice site ran from a specific software system. Improvements to our site and the creation of a community message board necessitated a system upgrade. This upgrade allowed us to save the old article comments, but we were unable to save the names associated with the articles.
7. What’s your privacy policy?
Click here to read our privacy policy.
8. How do I report objectionable material?
If you see an image or language that you believe to be in violation of our user guidelines please notify us at ehadvicealerts@eharmony.com.
